REPORT:

One of our Season Pass holders fished during the morning and brought (1) fall fish to hand.  Water temperature was listed at 76 degrees at first light, bumping up to 78 degrees at 11:00am.

REPORT:  The run went unfished today.  The whitewater release, scheduled for this weekend, for the benefit of rafters and kayakers, has been cancelled due to low water levels in the Salmon River Reservoir.

DSR Fishing Report for 27 July 2026: REPORT: A father, and his two boys, joined us on the run this past Friday and had a ball with bringing to hand Smallmouth Bass numbering in the double-digits, some of which were hefty; Jack (age 12, blue shirt), and Wyatt (age 10, white shirt) were the successful anglers. We had a Family of three  join us for a large part of the day, fishing from the upper down through the lower section of the run, hooking and releasing good numbers of smallmouth from 11” to 18” in length, using spinning gear with swim baits.

We had a lone angler fish the middle and lower portion of the run swinging flies this morning and landing (2) Smallies as a result.

DSR Fishing Report for 16 July 2026:   REPORT: We had a season passholder, a family of anglers, and a couple on the run today.  The season passholder reported bringing to hand a large, and a medium, sized Smallmouth Bass while swinging lies in the lower section of the run.  The boys in the family caught a Yellow Perch in the middle of the run and all members of the family enjoyed the flora and fauna.  The couple targeted Fallfish.   CFS / WEATHER: The flow from the dam is 200 CFS and is scheduled to remain at that level until 11:59 PM this evening.
