DSR Fishing Report for 16 July 2026:   REPORT: We had a season passholder, a family of anglers, and a couple on the run today.  The season passholder reported bringing to hand a large, and a medium, sized Smallmouth Bass while swinging lies in the lower section of the run.  The boys in the family caught a Yellow Perch in the middle of the run and all members of the family enjoyed the flora and fauna.  The couple targeted Fallfish.   CFS / WEATHER: The flow from the dam is 200 CFS and is scheduled to remain at that level until 11:59 PM this evening. The Pineville gauge is currently at 228 CFS.  Water temperature ranged from 67 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit today. Tonight: Partly cloudy. A few of our Season Pass guests joined us on the run today. They each landed one nice Smallmouth Bass in the middle section of the run.

We had just over a half dozen guests join us on the run today.  One angler did connect with a handful of smallmouth and a solitary brown using worms in the middle of the run.

We had some lodge guests as well as walk up clients fish the run today; we didn’t receive a report on their success from either group, however.

We had one guest join us on the run today that landed two small Smallmouth Bass.   NOTE: The DSR will be closed to fishing, and Guest Services will not be available for any administrative matters, from 2 July through 5 July in order to put in an asphalt apron at the entrance to the Welcome Center parking lot.
