REPORT: There were a few anglers on the run today, with one angler reported landing several 12 to 16 inch Smallmouth Bass.

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is 185 CFS and is scheduled to remain at that level until 11:59 PM this evening.. The Pineville gauge is currently at 268 CFS. The water temperature ranged from 69F to 73F. Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy. Low 62F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow:   Mostly cloudy skies. High 86F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.

REPORT:

One of our Season Pass holders fished during the morning and brought (1) fall fish to hand.  Water temperature was listed at 76 degrees at first light, bumping up to 78 degrees at 11:00am.

The flow from the dam is 185 CFS and is scheduled to remain at that level until 11:59 PM this evening.. The Pineville gauge is currently at 268 CFS.

Tonight: A few passing clouds otherwise, generally clear. Low around 60F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow:  Some clouds in the morning will give way to mainly sunny skies for the afternoon. High 81F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

REPORT:  The run went unfished today.  The whitewater release, scheduled for this weekend, for the benefit of rafters and kayakers, has been cancelled due to low water levels in the Salmon River Reservoir.

Thunderstorms kept the run un-fished today.

Tonight: Isolated thunderstorms this evening followed by a few showers overnight. Heavy and torrential downpours at times. Low 63F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 60%.

DSR Fishing Report for 27 July 2026: REPORT: A father, and his two boys, joined us on the run this past Friday and had a ball with bringing to hand Smallmouth Bass numbering in the double-digits, some of which were hefty; Jack (age 12, blue shirt), and Wyatt (age 10, white shirt) were the successful anglers. CFS / WEATHER: The flow from the dam is 185 CFS and is scheduled to remain at that level until 11:59 PM this Monday evening.. The Pineville gauge is currently at 256 CFS. REPORT:

We had a Family of three  join us for a large part of the day, fishing from the upper down through the lower section of the run, hooking and releasing good numbers of smallmouth from 11” to 18” in length, using spinning gear with swim baits.

We had one angler fish the run today with slow angling success. He was able to land a few Smallmouth Bass ranging from 8-10 inches.

We had one angler fish the run today with slow-moderate angling success. He was able to land a few Smallmouth Bass ranging from 10-15 inches.  

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is 250 CFS and is scheduled to remain at that level until 11:59 PM this evening. The Pineville gauge is currently at 256 CFS. Water temperature ranged from 69 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit today. Tonight: Partly cloudy skies. Low 51F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph, becoming SE and decreasing to less than 5 mph.   Tomorrow: Rain showers early with mostly cloudy conditions later in the day. High 67F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50%.   Tomorrow Sunrise: 5:42 AM Tomorrow Sunset: 8:41 PM
