DSR Fishing Report for 1 July 2026:

 

REPORT:

We had one guest join us on the run today that landed two small Smallmouth Bass.   NOTE: The DSR will be closed to fishing, and Guest Services will not be available for any administrative matters, from 2 July through 5 July in order to put in an asphalt apron at the entrance to the Welcome Center parking lot.  

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is 200 CFS and will remain at that level until 11:59 PM this evening.  The Pineville gauge is currently at 252 CFS. Tonight: A few clouds. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. Low 72F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.   Tomorrow: Mostly sunny skies. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 89F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.   Tomorrow Sunrise: 5:27AM Tomorrow Sunset: 8:50 PM
