Douglaston Salmon Run is currently seeking outgoing, professional & customer service oriented individuals to become a part of our seasonal River Patrol staff.

Responsibilities:

• Walk / Wade several miles of the Salmon River (Rain or Shine)
• Ensure guest safety on property
• Ensure ethical fishing practices and regulations are being followed
• Communication of property rights and boundaries for outside anglers

Qualifications:

• Outgoing / Professional & Customer Service Oriented
• Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills including Conflict Resolution
• Knowledge of NYS Fishing Regulations & Fishing Experience (Preferred)

Douglaston Salmon Run is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for our seasonal housekeeping staff. Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and mantaining all lodges and facilities thoroughly and efficiently. Full Time and Part Time positions are available.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of all Douglaston Salmon Run facilities.
• Interact with guests in a helpful and friendly manner.
• Prompt response for questions, concerns and requests.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License Required
• Strong communication skills with focus is customer relation and hospitality.
• Ability to work independently or with groups
• Ability to manage and prioritize duties & adaptable to change.

Part Time & Full Time Positions

Weekdays & Weekends Available / Daytime Shifts (9am-3pm) with flexible scheduling
