DSR Fishing Report for 30 June 2026:   REPORT: A couple of guests joined us on the run today, and fished the morning only; we did not receive a report from one of the guests, the other was targeting Fallfish.   NOTE: The DSR will be closed to fishing, and Guest Services will not be available for any administrative matters, from 2 July through 5 July in order to put in an asphalt apron at the entrance to the Welcome Center parking lot.   CFS / WEATHER: The flow from the dam is 200 CFS and will remain at that level until 11:59 PM this evening.  The Pineville gauge is currently at 248 CFS. DSR Fishing Report for 29 June 2026:   REPORT: A season pass holder joined us on the run during the morning hours.  He swung flies at the bottom of the run and was rewarded with a brace of chunky Smallmouth Bass for his efforts.   NOTE: The DSR will be closed to fishing, and Guest Services will not be available for any administrative matters, from 2 July through 5 July in order to put in an asphalt apron at the entrance to the Welcome Center parking lot.   CFS / WEATHER: The flow from the dam bumped up to 250 CFS just past midnight and will remain at that level until 11:59 PM this evening.  The Pineville gauge is currently at 228 CFS. Tonight: A few clouds. Low 67F. Winds light and variable.   Tomorrow: Partly cloudy early. Scattered thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. Potential for severe thunderstorms. High 88F. DSR Fishing Report for 28 June 2026:

REPORT:

We had a pair of Season Pass holders join us on the run during the am hours.  They swung flies from the top of the run to the bottom, and each landed a smallmouth for their efforts.

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is currently at 200 CFS and will remain at that level until 11:59 PM this evening. At that time, it will bump up to 250 CFS through 11:59pm Monday evening. The Pineville gauge is currently at 232 CFS.

Tonight: Mainly clear skies. Low 59F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow: Sunshine and some clouds. High 86F. Winds light and variable.

DSR Fishing Report for 26 June 2026:

 

REPORT:

The water temperature this morning was 63F and up to 66F by early afternoon. The angler density was low today and angling success was slow. There were sightings of eagles, ospreys and a red fox was also seen. Several Smallmouth Bass were landed along with a couple of Steelhead Fry.  

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is currently at 200 CFS and will remain at that level until 11:59 PM on the 27^th.  The Pineville gauge is currently at 262 CFS. Tonight: Cloudy early with some clearing expected late. Low near 55F. Winds light and variable.   Tomorrow: Sunshine and clouds mixed. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 78F. We had a handful of guests join us on the run today with slow fishing reported. One of the guests indicated hooking and landing two big Smallmouth Bass.

One of our season pass holders worked the lower end of the run during the morning and connected with (1) smallmouth.

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is currently at 400 CFS, scheduled to drop to 200 CFS at 6:00pm this evening and maintain that level until 11:59pm tonight.  The Pineville gauge is currently at 506 CFS.

Tonight: Partly cloudy early followed by cloudy skies overnight. Low near 55F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow: Periods of rain. Cooler. High 66F. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.
