DSR Fishing Report for 29 June 2026:   REPORT: A season pass holder joined us on the run during the morning hours.  He swung flies at the bottom of the run and was rewarded with a brace of chunky Smallmouth Bass for his efforts.   NOTE: The DSR will be closed to fishing, and Guest Services will not be available for any administrative matters, from 2 July through 5 July in order to put in an asphalt apron at the entrance to the Welcome Center parking lot.   CFS / WEATHER: The flow from the dam bumped up to 250 CFS just past midnight and will remain at that level until 11:59 PM this evening.  The Pineville gauge is currently at 228 CFS. Tonight: A few clouds. Low 67F. Winds light and variable.   Tomorrow: Partly cloudy early. Scattered thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. Potential for severe thunderstorms. High 88F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.
