The current dam release is 185 CFS, which is projected to remain until 10/07/26 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 213 CFS as of 5:00pm. Water temperature this  morning was 53 degrees Fahrenheit at 5:00pm.

UPPER SECTION

Angling success was described as “good”. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon and Steelhead throughout all portions of this section.  The fish were mostly holding in pools with some moving upriver.  The volume of anglers was “low’ in the very upper sections and “high’ in the lowest portions.

MIDDLE SECTION

Angling success was described as “good to moderate”. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon. The fish were actively moving upriver and also holding in pools. Angler density in this section was described as “moderate” .

LOWER SECTION

Angling success was described as “slow” in the estuary, and “good” just upriver.  The fish species reported were Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho Salmon, and Steelhead. The fish present were both actively moving upriver and holding in pools. Angler density in this section was “moderate to low” in both the estuary and just upriver.

The current dam release is 185 CFS, which is projected to remain until 10/06/26 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 216 CFS as of 7:30 AM. Water temperature this  morning was 50 degrees Fahrenheit at 7:00 AM.

UPPER SECTION

Angling success was described as “slow to good”. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon throughout all portions of this section.  The fish were mostly holding in pools with some moving upriver.  The volume of anglers was “low to moderate”.

MIDDLE SECTION

Angling success was described as “moderate to good”. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon, as well as Steelhead, present throughout the middle and lower parts. The fish were actively moving upriver and also holding in pools. Angler density in this section was described as “moderate” .

LOWER SECTION

Angling success was described as “moderate” in the estuary, and “good” just upriver.  The fish species reported were Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho Salmon, Brown Trout, and Steelhead. The fish present were both actively moving upriver and holding in pools. Angler density in this section was “moderate to low” in both the estuary and just upriver.

UPPER SECTION Angling success was described as “moderate to good”. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon throughout all portions of this section, with Steelhead reported in the lower part as well. The fish were all actively moving upriver in all parts. The volume of anglers was “low” in the upper part of this section, with a “moderate” volume in the middle and lower parts.

   

MIDDLE SECTION Angling success was described as “good” in the upper and lower parts of this section to “moderate” in the middle part. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon, as well as Steelhead, present throughout the upper and lower parts. The fish were actively moving upriver and also holding in pools. Angler density in this section was described as “moderate” .

   

LOWER SECTION Angling success was described as “quiet” in the estuary, and “moderate” just upriver. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon throughout this section. The fish present were actively moving upriver and holding in pools. Angler density in this section was “low” in both the estuary and just upriver.

The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 213 CFS as of 8:15 AM. Water temperature this  morning was 56 degrees Fahrenheit at 6 AM.   UPPER SECTION Angling success was described as “good” in the lower part, “excellent” in the middle part, with no anglers present in the upper part. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon present throughout this section, with Steelhead reported in the lower and middle parts.  The fish were actively moving upriver in all parts, with some holding in pools within the lower and upper parts.  The volume of anglers was “high” in the bottom and middle parts of the section, with no anglers present in the upper part.   MIDDLE SECTION Angling success was described as “good” in the lower and upper parts of this section to “excellent” in the middle part. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon, as well as Steelhead, present throughout this section, with Brown Trout reported in the lower part. The fish were both actively moving upriver, and downriver, and also holding in pools. Angler density in this section was described as “moderate” throughout this section. Angling success was described as “good to excellent” throughout the middle portion of the run.  The fish species reported  were both Chinook (King), Cohos and Steelhead were all reported as bring brought to hand. The fish were both actively moving upriver and also holding in pools.  Angler density in this section was described as “moderate to high” throughout this section.

The fish species reported were Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon in the lower and middle parts, with Kings only in the uppermost part. Steelhead showed up in the lower part of this section. The fish present were holding in pools within the lower part, actively moving upriver and holding in pools within the middle part, and moving upriver within the uppermost part. Angler density in this section was described as “moderate" in the lower part, “high” in the middle part, and “none” in the upper part.
