The current dam release is 185 CFS, where it is projected to remain until 10/19/26 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 236 CFS as of 5:00 PM. The water temperature was 52 degrees at 5:00 PM.

UPPER SECTION

Angling success was described as “moderate” throughout this section. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho, Brown Trout, and Steelhead throughout the section. The fish were actively moving upriver as well as holding in pools.  Guest volume was described as “ low” in all portions of this section.

MIDDLE SECTION

Angling success was described as “slow” in the lower part and “good” in the middle to upper parts. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho, Steelhead and Brown trout. The fish were  both actively moving upriver as well as holding in pools within this section. Angler density in this section was described as “ moderate.”

LOWER SECTION

Angling success was described as “moderate” in the estuary, and “good” just upriver. The fish species reported were Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho, Steelhead and Brown Trout.  The angler density was listed as “moderate” in both sections.
