DSR Fishing Report:

The current dam release is 185 CFS, where it is projected to remain until 09/29/26 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 216 CFS as of 9:00 AM. Water temperature this  morning was 56 degrees F as of 9AM

In the Upper Section,

angling success was described as quiet on top with slow to good in the middle of the section. Fish species reported were Kings and Coho’s. The fish present were mostly holding in pools with some moving up river. Angler density in this section was described as low to moderate.  

In the Middle Section,

angling success was described as slow to moderate. Fish species reported were Kings and Cohos brought to hand. The fish present were actively moving upriver, down river, and holding in pools. Angler density in this section was described as high to moderate.  

In the Lower Section,

angling success was described as moderate to good. Fish species reported were Kings and Cohos. The fish present were holding in pools and the lower section the fish were moving upriver. Angler density in this section was described as high in the upper section on this portion of the run and low in the lower section of the run.

The forecast for tomorrow is: Partly cloudy skies in the morning will give way to cloudy skies during the afternoon. High 72F. Winds light and variable.
