angling success was described as quiet in the top of that section, with the middle and lower sections being described as good to excellent. Fish species reported were King Salmon. The fish present were actively moving upriver and holding in pools. Angler density in this section was described as low to moderate.

In the Middle Section

angling success was described as good to excellent. Fish species reported were King and Coho Salmon. The fish present were actively moving upriver. Angler density in this section was described as moderate.

In the Lower Section

angling success was described as quiet to moderate. Fish species reported were King Salmon. The fish present were actively moving upriver and holding in pools. Angler density in this section was described as low.

A reminder that, effective this season, we are asking that all categories of guests check-out with us, either in-person at the Welcome Center, telephonically, or with River Patrol at other access points (e.g., Black Hole, estuary, lodge guest parking) when they leave the run for the day; this will enable us to more effectively monitor and control the number of anglers on the run, in order to meet both the spirit and intent of our daily angler limit.
