DSR Fishing Report for 04 September 2026:

REPORT:

Another day very similar to yesterday with good numbers of Salmon, (Kings) brought to hand and seen moving up the river from dawn until roughly 9:00am and then things slowed considerably, (at least up until the time of this report.)  Our angler volume throughout the day was moderate, tapering to low for the afternoon hours, and angling success would best be described as good this morning and slow this afternoon.  King Salmon with a few Browns were the only species reported so far today.

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is currently showing 185 CFS and is scheduled to remain at that level until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, September 8^th. The Pineville Gauge is currently at 236 CFS.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies. Low 57F. Winds N at 10 to 15 mph.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy. High 74F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.

A reminder that, effective this season, we are asking that all categories of guests check-out with us, either in-person at the Welcome Center, telephonically, or with River Patrol at other access points (e.g., Black Hole, estuary, lodge guest parking) when they leave the run for the day; this will enable us to more effectively monitor and control the number of anglers on the run, in order to meet both the spirit and intent of our daily angler limit.
