DSR Fishing Report for 05 August 2026:

REPORT:

We had a handful of anglers, (primarily season pass holders), who fished the run today.  A few bass along with some fall fish were brought to hand.  Water temperature was listed at 69 degrees F at dawn, rising to 73 degrees F by midday.

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is 185 CFS and is scheduled to remain at that level until 11:59 PM Wednesday evening. The Pineville gauge is currently at 256 CFS

Tonight:  Partly cloudy early with increasing clouds overnight. Low 69F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow:  A shower or two possible early with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. High 83F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.
