DSR Fishing Report for 17 June 2026:

 

REPORT:

Angler density was low with just a handful of anglers joining us on the run today. We received a report from two of the anglers using spey setups. They managed to land three Smallmouth bass fishing the middle and lower sections of the run.  

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is currently 185 CFS which is scheduled through 06/17/26 at 11:59pm.  The Pineville Gauge currently reads 254 CFS. Tonight: Rain showers early will evolve into a more steady rain overnight. Low 63F. Winds ESE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70%.   Tomorrow: Thunderstorms in the morning, then variable clouds during the afternoon with still a chance of showers. Gusty winds and small hail are possible. High 74F. Winds SW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 80%.   Tomorrow Sunrise: 5:23AM Tomorrow Sunset: 8:48 PM
