DSR Fishing Report for 11 May 2026:   ***Starting today,  Monday, May 11^th, 2026, DSR’s hours of operation will be from 6:00am – 5:00pm***     REPORT: We had a fair amount of anglers on the run today.  Steelhead were sighted, and nibbling, but not taking.  Fishing was ‘slow’ for Steelhead and ‘slow’ for Smallmouth Bass as well.   WEATHER / CFS: The current dam release is 350 CFS through 9:00 PM today; thereafter it will bump up to 750 CFS and remain there until 11:59pm tomorrow evening.  The Pineville Gauge is at 494 CFS. Tonight: A shower is possible early. Some clouds this evening will give way to mainly clear skies overnight. Low 36F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph, becoming NE and decreasing to less than 5 mph.   Tomorrow: Sunny, along with a few afternoon clouds. Cooler. High 57F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.   Tomorrow Sunrise: 5:45 AM Tomorrow Sunset: 8:18 PM   ANNOUNCEMENTS:   Balance payments for all categories of seasons passes will be due by June 26, 2026.   As part of an After-Action-Review of last season that identified best-practices moving forward, guests are strongly requested to check out when they leave the property. This will enhance angler safety and our efforts to more accurately manage angler density on the run so as to not exceed angler limits.
