DSR Fishing Report for 26 April 2026:

REPORT:

We had a moderate to high number of guests join us on the run today.  Although steelhead, (drop backs as well as fresh), were caught today, the smallmouth bass really picked up in a big way.  Many guests reported double digits for smallmouth using crankbaits, worms, and streamers.  Beads and swung streamers were the primary methods used for Steelhead that were brought to hand today.

Pictured below is Austin with a very nice smallmouth that have started showing up on the run.

WEATHER / CFS:

The current dam release is 350 CFS, (reduced from 500 CFS at 4pm this afternoon.) It’s  scheduled to stay at that flow until 11:59 pm on 04/26/2026. The gauge at Pineville is currently at 688 CFS and dropping.

Tonight: Mainly clear. Low 37F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph

Tomorrow: Mainly sunny. High near 70F. Winds light and variable.

Season Pass Invitations were sent out 1 April 2026. Full payment or a deposit will be required by April 30^th,  2026. Balance payments will be due by June 26th, 2026.
