DSR Fishing Report for 23 April 2026:

REPORT:

We had a moderate number of anglers join us on the run today.  Angling success would best defined as somewhere between moderate and good.  Most anglers I spoke with hooked steelhead and the majority hooked several.  We didn’t have any reports of brown trout brought to hand, but the Smallmouth are now starting to show up, with a handful caught today.

WEATHER / CFS:

The current dam release is 750 CFS; it is currently scheduled to stay at that flow until 11:59 pm on 04/24/2026. The gauge at Pineville is currently at 962 CFS.

Tonight: Cloudy. Low 39F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies. High 58F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.
