DSR Fishing Report for 18 April 2026:

REPORT:

We had a moderate number of anglers join us on the run today.  The fishing was reported as moderate during the 1^st half of the day with most anglers hooking a steelhead, some connecting with several.  The afternoon reports were listed as slow as the bite eased off, possibly due to the decreased water flow making it’s way down throughout the entire river.

WEATHER / CFS:

The current dam release is 1000CFS and currently scheduled to stay at that flow until 11:59pm on 04/19/2026. The gauge at Pineville is at 1510.

Tonight: Rain likely. Much colder. Low 37F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall possibly over one inch.

Tomorrow: Rain likely. Cloudy with rain and snow diminishing in the morning. Partial clearing in the afternoon. Turning cooler. High 44F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 80%.
