as of 10 AM we have 3 full day walk-up fishing passes available for immediate sale ($115 each)
the two Manor House guests' reserved areas (the South channel below the Glide, and a portion of the Upper Clay) are CLOSED, to all other categories of guests, until further notice; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible.
The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/10/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 205.
9 AM report: Current conditions are: hazy blue skies with streaks of indistinct clouds, diffused bright sunshine, 43 degrees (high of 63 degrees forecasted), very light breezes, dry. Water temperature is 50 degrees.
The estuary section reported no guests present, quiet, with Chinook (King) salmon moving upriver through both the North and center channels.
The lower section reported moderate guest density throughout, experiencing moderate fishing activity in the lower part, and good fishing activity in the upper part, with a mix of Kings, Brown Trout, and Steelhead in the lower part, and Kings and Brown Trout in the upper part, that are moving upriver as well as holding in pools.
The middle section reported moderate guest density in the lower part, and low guest density in the upper part; experiencing good fishing activity in the lower part, and moderate fishing activity in the upper part, with a mix of Kings, Brown Trout and Steelhead in the lower part, and Kings only in the upper part, with fish moving upriver, as well as holding in pools throughout.
The upper section reported high guest density throughout, with moderate fishing activity throughout, Kings only, that are moving upriver as well as holding in pools.
The top section reported low guest density, experiencing slow fishing activity, with Kings only, that are moving upriver.
