River Patrol 9 AM fishing report (this report is a subjective, generalized, evaluation of fishing conditions within large, yet specific, areas of the run, compiled through personal observations of the River Patrol assigned to these areas, as well as those of our guests angling within these areas, over a span of several hours, and may differ from your personal observations): The estuary section reported no anglers present. River patrol noticed pods of Chinook (King) and Coho salmon moving upriver, through the North channel, as well as holding in the area. The lower section reported a low volume of anglers and slow angling success with Kings moving upriver as well as holding in some of the deeper pools. The middle section reported low guest density, slow fishing activity, with a mix of Kings, Cohos, and a solitary Brown Trout, all moving upriver. The upper section reported low guest density, slow angling activity, with a mix of Kings and Cohos moving upriver. The top section reported no anglers present and no observed fish activity. The forecast for tonight is: "Clear skies. Low 51F. Winds light and variable". The forecast for tomorrow is: "A mainly sunny sky. High near 75F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph".
