Fishing Report for 04/24/2025-We had a couple dozen guests fish the run today, from first light to twilight on the entire expanse of the run. The results, somewhat surprisingly, were down from yesterday with only a few fish brought to hand or hooked briefly and lost. Our water temperature at midday was 49 degrees under mostly cloudy skies, with temperatures that reached the low 70s. Friday’s outlook is for continued cloudy skies, temperatures starting around 50 degrees and increasing to the low 70s, with light E / SE winds, and a slight chance of a late afternoon shower. The biggest change started this afternoon with the flow from the dam being reduced from 1000 cfs down to 750 cfs at 2:00 pm, which will remain in effect overnight and then another reduction down to 500 cfs at 7:00am Friday morning. The Pineville gauge is currently at 1020 cfs and dropping.
