Fishing Report for 04/22/2025-We had (10) guests fish the run today under mostly clear skies with light to moderate NW winds. I was able to speak with most of the guests as they came back through the Welcome Center and the results were positive; everyone at least hooked and landed one or more fish, using center-pin and swing techniques, from the middle down to the lower sections. We’ve seen an uptick in the numbers of Steelhead that have come back down the river after completing spawning over the past 2-3 days. (One fortunate guest landed a nice Atlantic as well.) Tomorrow’s outlook is for mostly sunny skies, temperatures starting out in the upper 30s, topping out in the mid-50s, with winds from the WNW at 3-8mph. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 1000 cfs through at least 11:59 tomorrow evening; the current flow at the Pineville Gauge is 1390 cfs.
