04/17/2025 Fishing Report: Sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-30s increasing to the mid-40s, with light NW winds was enjoyed by (13) anglers today. We had (13) anglers, fishing from first light with the last guests departing by mid-afternoon. Speaking with the guests as they departed, the consensus was fishing was difficult, with only (1) angler bringing a spawned out female to hand, weighing around 6 lbs. Tomorrow we’ll have mostly cloudy skies, temperatures in the mid-30s to start, rapidly climbing to the mid-60s by early afternoon, with S / SE winds 8-16 mph. Precipitation of 1/10” is also in the forecast. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 1000 cfs through at least 11:59pm tomorrow evening. The Pineville gauge is currently at 1390 cfs.
