It's hard to ask for a more comfortable day to be on the water, fishing.  Temperatures started in the low 40's this morning, but ultimately reached mid 70's by mid day.  While expectations of steelhead start to dwindle as we head into May, there's certainly a glimmer of hope for a few lingering, as we saw earlier this week.  Most anglers reported a handful of bass today, a few 'whoppers', with just one report of an untamable steelhead that got away.  Ultimately, it seemed most anglers were successful in their endeavors, particularly in the middle and upper sections of the property today.  The dam release is currently scheduled to remain at 350 CFS until 11:59 PM tomorrow (5/4).  Please monitor safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for updated dam release scheduling.
