Today was a 50-50 kind of a day. Weather-wise this morning was sunny with relatively little wind and this afternoon the front rolled in and it became cloudy, overcast, and windy. The fishing 50-50 as well. Of the anglers that I spoke with, about half struggled to get into any fish and the other half found some success. Not great success and not the numbers of recent days, but still a decent day. The smallmouth seemed to be evasive as there were very little reports of smallmouth success, but that may have been due to the fact that our guests were focused on catching Steelhead. Overall, the consensus was that today was a "slower" and "tough" day. The water temperatures was reported as 45 early this morning and by noon had risen to 51 degrees. Water from the dam remains at 500cfs and the flow at Pineville is 641cfs.
