CFS at the dam 750, CFS at the Pineville gauge stood at 1030 all day - air temperatures started in the low 20s this morning, rose to a high of freezing, and is currently at 28 degrees and dropping - our snowfall last night had a crust of freezing rain, deposited early this morning . . . as of the time of this report, we are experiencing a freezing drizzle - skies were overcast all day and there was a variable, relatively light wind - we had four guests join us on the run today - near 4 PM the first guest I was able to catch up with left the run - he reported 2 / 4 (including a small Brown Trout brought to hand) drifting 10mm frosted orange beads, as well as pink or white egg sacks, under a bobber - our last guest (who checked in during the late afternoon) came off the run at 5:50 PM - he reported 1 / 1 Steelhead, under tough fishing conditions - he stated the water temperature was 33 degrees - the forecast for tonight is: Light freezing rain this evening changing over to snow showers overnight. Low 18F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 50%. Snow and ice accumulations less than one inch. The forecast for Friday is: Cloudy with snow showers mainly during the morning. High 21F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 40%. Friday night the forecast is: Partly cloudy. Low 7F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.
