Felt like January today. Overcast skies with overnight temperatures in the teens and daytime temperatures in the low 20's. We did have a couple of anglers join us today with one angler swinging flies with no luck and a float fisherman that was able to bring three fish to hand. Pretty good considering the conditions.

Water from the dam is to remain at 1000 cfs through midnight tomorrow and the current flow at Pineville is 1430 cfs.

Reminder

DSR will operate on a delayed opening this weekend January 14-15 due to extreme cold overnight and likely slushy conditions during the early morning hours. We will be open for fishing on both days at 9AM.
