A challenging day on the run. Good water temperature (50 degrees), good water flow (about 500 cfs), and plenty of eggs in the river, but the Steelhead are proving to be elusive. That being said, I did get reports of multiple angers hooking (but not landing ) multiple steelhead. 0 for five and zero for four, for example. But clearly, this was the exception to the rule. Most struggled to get into multiple fish. We are seeing an increasing umber of Atlantics being hooked, however. At least four Atlantics were brought to hand by various anglers.

Flow from the dam remains at 335 cfs and at Pineville the flow iss460 cfs
