DSR Fishing Report for 24 February 2026:

REPORT:

Angler density was low and the success was quiet. The blowing snow and temperatures staying in the teens may have attributed to the quiet day.  

WEATHER / CFS:

  The current dam release is at 300 cfs currently scheduled through 7pm when the flow will be increased to 750cfs until 11:59pm on 02/25/2026. The gauge at Pineville has been malfunctioning as we’re still not receiving a flow report from that gauge. Tonight:  Cloudy. Snow likely late. Low 13F. Winds SE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 90%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.   Tomorrow: Snow showers early will become steadier snow in the afternoon. High 34F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 70%. Snowfall around one inch.   Sunrise:  6:50am         Sunset:  5:47pm  

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  Season Pass Renewals will begin March 1st, 2026. Full payment or a deposit will be required by March 31st, 2026. Balance payments will be due by June 26th, 2026. If space is available, the first round of invitations to those on the waiting list will be sent out the first week of April 2026.
