DSR Fishing Report for 16 February 2026: REPORT:   We had about a dozen anglers join us on the run today. Some guests said they did not hook a fish and others said they were able to land “a few”. It seems that some of the shelf ice is starting to break up with this stretch of warmer weather. One guest stated that it is getting very dangerous to walk out on the shelf ice.   WEATHER / CFS:   The current dam release is at 300 cfs through 11:59pm 02/17/’26. The gauge at Pineville is currently affected by ice which does not give a CFS reading. Tonight: Cloudy with occasional light rain late. Low 33F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70%.   Tomorrow: Showers in the morning, then cloudy in the afternoon. Temps nearly steady in the mid 30s. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.
