DSR Fishing Report for 27 January 2026:

  ***From Saturday, January 24^th through Saturday, January 31^st the DSR’s hours will be from 9:00am to 3:00pm, (closing at 3:00pm unless anglers are present on the run), due to the extended forecast of very cold temperatures resulting in slush.*** The current dam release is at 350 cfs and listed to remain at that flow thru 11:59pm 27 January ’26.  The gauge at Pineville is currently at 610 cfs.

REPORT:

  There were no guests on the run today.

WEATHER:

  Tonight:  Snow this evening will give way to partly cloudy conditions late. Cold. Low 9F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 90%. 5 to 8 inches of snow expected.   Tomorrow:  Variably cloudy with snow showers. Continued very cold. High 19F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 70%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.   Sunrise:  7:28am         Sunset:  5:08pm
