DSR Fishing Report for 22 January 2026:

***From Saturday, January 24^th through Saturday, January 31^st the DSR’s hours will be from 9:00am to 3:00pm, (closing at 3:00pm unless anglers are present on the run), due to the extended forecast of very cold temperatures resulting in slush.*** The current dam release is at 750 cfs scheduled until 9:00pm this evening when it will be reduced to 350 cfs and listed to remain at that flow thru 11:59pm 23 January ’26.  The gauge at Pineville is currently at 1030 cfs. REPORT:

The angler density today was low to moderate with just under a dozen anglers joining us today.  Fishing activity was slow to good on the run with most of the anglers I spoke with upon departure hooking and or landing at least a few.  The steelhead that were brought to hand were a mixture of colored up as well as some still very chrome.  A lone Brown was also in the mix today.

WEATHER:

Today:  Windy. Snow flurries and a few snow showers throughout the day. High 32F. Winds W at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 40%. Higher wind gusts possible.

Tonight:  Variably cloudy with snow showers. Low 18F. Winds WSW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 60%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected. Heavier amounts in persistent snowbands.

Tomorrow:  Variably cloudy with snow showers. Morning high of 21F with temps falling to near 10. Winds W at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 70%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches. Heavier amounts in persistent snowbands.

- Premium Access Passes (11 Sep – 29 October) released Friday 23 January 2026 - enter queue at 5:30 PM, sales begin at 6 PM (only Premium Access will be sold on the 23rd) Season Pass Renewals will begin March 1st, 2026.
