DSR Fishing Report for 20 January 2026:

The current dam release at 4:30pm was 1200 CFS scheduled until 01/20/26 11:59pm. The Pineville gauge is currently ---- CFS as of 4:30pm. The water temperature was not available this morning. REPORT:

There was low angler density, and the angler success was quiet-slow.  We had one report of an angler fishing the middle section of the river bringing a steelhead to hand using a Centerpin rig with a blue egg sac.

WEATHER:

Cloudy skies. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low near 10F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph.

The forecast for tomorrow:  Cloudy with snow showers becoming a steady accumulating snow later on. High 27F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 80%. Snowfall around one inch.

- October fishing passes (1^st – 29^th) released for sale Wednesday 21 January 2026 - enter queue at 5:30 PM, sales begin at 6 PM.  (Fishing Passes for October 30 and 31^st are available now.) - Premium Access Passes (11 Sep – 31 October) released Friday 23 January 2026 - enter queue at 5:30 PM, sales begin at 6 PM (only Premium Access will be sold on the 23rd)

Season Pass Renewals will begin March 1st, 2026. Full payment or a deposit will be required by March 31st, 2026. Balance payments will be due by June 26th, 2026.
