DSR Fishing Report for 10 January 2026

  The current dam release is 1,200 CFS on until 01/11/26 11:59 PM.  The Pineville gauge is currently 1610 CFS as of 4:30pm. The water temperature was 35F this morning. Sunrise: 7:37 AM Sunset: 4:48 PM  

REPORT:

The water clarity was much improved from yesterday, just a touch of color. There were over 20 anglers on the run today. The anglers that were center pinning had the most success, they were fishing in the middle to upper middle of the run.

WEATHER:

The forecast for tonight: Cloudy with rain ending overnight. Low 32F. SE winds shifting to SW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall near a half an inch. The forecast for tomorrow: Cloudy. Snow likely in the afternoon. High near 35F. Winds WSW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 70%. About one inch of snow expected. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.
