DSR Fishing Report for 07 January 2026   The current dam release is 1,200 CFS on until 01/08/26 11:59 PM.  The Pineville gauge is currently 1520 CFS as of 4:30pm. The water temperature was not available this morning. Sunrise: 7:38 AM Sunset: 4:45 PM

REPORT

We had a handful of guests, again fishing the run. One  angler reported landing a couple of Steelhead in the middle section of the run using Blue egg sacks. He also stated that the water clarity was good and that there wasn’t any slush. Other guests reported landing quite a few Steelhead from the middle to the lower end of the run.

WEATHER

The forecast for tonight: Rain and snow this evening changing to all rain overnight. Low 32F. Winds light and variable. Chance of precip 40%. The forecast for tomorrow:  Cloudy. Temps nearly steady in the mid to upper 30s. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

- 1 January through 27 August 2026 fishing passes are currently available -28 August – 30 September 2026 fishing passes released for sale Monday 19 Jan 2026 - enter queue at 5:30 PM, sales begin at 6 PM -October and September fishing passes released for sale Wednesday 21 January 2026 - enter queue at 5:30 PM, sales begin at 6 PM - Premium Access Passes (11 Sep – 29 October) released Friday 23 January 2026 - enter queue at 5:30 PM, sales begin at 6 PM (only Premium Access will be sold on the 23^rd) Season Pass Renewals will begin March 1st, 2026. Full payment or a deposit will be required by March 31st, 2026. Balance payments will be due by June 26th, 2026.
