DSR Fishing Report for 04 January 2026 NOTE:  due to the snow and cold temperatures forecasted for the next several days DSR’s hours of operation will be adjusted as follows:   -5 January 2026: 9AM-5:15PM   The current dam release is 1,000 CFS, where it is projected to remain until 1/5/26 at 11:59 PM.  The Pineville gauge is currently 1310 CFS as of 4:30pm. The water temperature was not available this morning. We had three guests fish the run today. Two anglers reported landing multiple Steelhead in the upper and middle section of the run. Fish seemed to be sitting in slow deeper water with the colder temps. The forecast for tonight:  Overcast. Low 9F. Winds NNE at 5 to 10 mph. The forecast for tomorrow:  Snow likely. High 28F. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 90%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.
