DSR Fishing Report: 28 December 2025   The current dam release is 500CFS; it’s scheduled to remain until 12/29/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 644 as of 5:00 PM.   Angling success throughout the DSR was described as moderate throughout the day. There was some slush in the morning, but it disappeared as the day went on. Most guests stated that they hooked and landed multiple Steelhead.   The forecast for tonight is: “Periods of rain. Low around 30F. Winds SE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 100%. 1 to 2 inches of rain expected.”   The forecast for tomorrow is: “Windy. Rain to start. Then a transition to snow showers in the afternoon. Morning high of 42F with temps falling to near 30. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
