DSR Fishing Report: 27 December 2025   The current dam release is 500CFS; it’s scheduled to remain until 12/28/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 659 as of 5:00 PM.   Angling success throughout the DSR was described as slow by our guests in the early AM but increased to moderate in the afternoon. There was some slush pretty much the entire day, but it started to disappear as the day went on. Guests stated that later in the day (around 12:00 PM) the run seemed to warm up a bit which made fishing a lot better for Steelhead. Two groups of anglers said they hooked and landed multiple Steelhead throughout the afternoon.   The forecast for tonight is: “Partly cloudy skies this evening will become overcast overnight. Low near 15F. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 mph.”   The forecast for tomorrow is: “Cloudy skies with periods of rain later in the day. High 37F. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph.
