November 9, 2025

9 Nov '25: The flow from the dam is currently at 500 CFS, where it will remain until 11/09/2025 at 4 PM when it will bump up to 1000. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently at 710. Weather conditions have been cloudy, temperatures in the mid-30s to start the day, (our forecast high is only 42 degrees), currently light and variable winds, sprinkling earlier but has since stopped. Water temperature this morning was 45 degrees. This morning and afternoon, we had no guests in the top section, as well as the very top of the upper section, with low guest density throughout the rest of the run.  Fishing activity was moderate in the estuary and bottom of the lower section and slow throughout the remainder of the run.  There were predominately Steelhead throughout the run, except for three Brown Trout brought to hand in the lower part of the middle section, and some stray Chinook (King) Salmon at the bottom of the upper section.  The fish were, for the most part, moving upriver through the river system, except for some fish holding in pools within the lower through upper sections. The forecast for tonight is: " Showers early, then cloudy overnight. Low 27F. Winds N at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40%". The forecast for tomorrow is: " Cloudy. Snow likely in the afternoon. High 32F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 60%. Snowfall around one inch".
