22 Oct '25: The Manor House guests' reserved areas, the South channel below the Glide, as well as the Upper Clay, are both CLOSED to all other DSR guests today; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible. There are four Premium Access passes available for sale online ($50 EA) for tomorrow, 23 October 2025 We have an ample number of full day fishing passes for immediate sale ($95 each); by extension, we will have ample afternoon-only fishing passes to sell, starting at 1 PM today ($55 each). It should be noted that individuals have been able to now purchase daily access fishing passes online, for the next day; the amount of available passes online will vary day-by-day, but try that option before you attempt a walk-up pass. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/22/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 260. 9 AM report: current conditions are: heavy overcast, 48 degrees (high of 53 degrees forecasted), dead calm, wet from recent sprinkling. Water temperature is 52 degrees. Throughout the run, unless otherwise noted, fish are both moving upriver as well as holding in pools. A lot of the fish that are holding are engaging in spawning activity; please do NOT fish for spawning fish! The estuary section reported moderate guest density, moderate fishing activity, with a mix of Chinook (King) Salmon and Steelhead. The lower section reported low guest density throughout, experiencing slow fishing activity in the lower part, moderate fishing activity in the upper part, with a mix of Kings and Steelhead. The middle section reported moderate guest density in the lower part, low guest density in the upper part; experiencing moderate fishing activity throughout, with a mix of Kings and Steelhead throughout, as well as a single Brown Trout from the lower part, with fish actively moving through the upper part. The upper section reported low guest density in the lower part, no guests present in the upper part, with moderate fishing activity throughout, on a mix of Kings and Steelhead. The top section reported moderate guest density, moderate fishing activity, with a mix of Kings and Steelhead, all moving through. The forecast for tonight is: "Rain showers early will evolve into a more steady rain overnight. Low 43F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch". The forecast for tomorrow is: "Periods of rain. High 51F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Rainfall around a half an inch"
