21 Oct 2025 / PM Fishing Report: The Manor House guests' reserved areas, the South channel below the Glide, as well as the Upper Clay, are both CLOSED to all other DSR guests tomorrow 22 Oct 2025; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/21/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 268. Throughout the run, unless otherwise noted, fish are both moving upriver as well as holding in pools. A lot of the fish that are holding are engaging in spawning activity; please do not fish for spawning fish! The estuary section reported low guest density, moderate fishing activity, with a mix of Chinook (King) Salmon and Steelhead. The lower section reported low guest density throughout, experiencing good fishing activity throughout, with a mix of Kings, Steelhead, and a few Brown trout. The middle section reported moderate guest density throughout, experiencing moderate fishing activity, with a mix of Kings and Steelhead. The upper section reported low guest density and moderate fishing activity on a mix of Kings and Steelhead. The top section reported low guest density, moderate fishing activity, with a mix of Kings and Steelhead. The forecast for tomorrow is: "Cloudy with occasional rain showers. High 53F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%."
