18 OCT '25 / pm Report:   The Manor House guests' reserved areas, the South channel below the Glide as well as the Upper Clay will be OPEN to all DSR guests tomorrow, Sunday, October 19th, 2025; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether the areas are accessible.   The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/18/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 195.   The water temperature as of 4:00pm was 58 degrees. The estuary section reported a low density of guests currently fishing with slow angling success. Kings and Steelhead were reported as moving upriver and holding in pools.   The lower section reported a low guest density, with low angling success for Kings and Steelhead.  Fish were reported as moving upriver and holding in pools.   The middle section reported a moderate guest density and good fishing for Kings and Steelhead that were seen both holding in pools and moving upriver.   The upper section reported high angler volume with good fishing for Kings and Steelhead. Fish were reported holding and moving upriver.   The top section reported low angling pressure, with good angling success, with Kings and Steelhead.   Tomorrow’s Weather Forecast: “Partly Cloudy.  Gusty winds in the afternoon.  High of 75F.   Winds from the S / SE at 10-20mph with higher gusts possible.” Pictured below is Ben with a rare Pink Salmon brought to hand.
