18 OCT '25 / AM Report: The Manor House guests' reserved areas, the South channel below the Glide as well as the Upper Clay will be CLOSED to all DSR guests today, Saturday, October 18th, 2025; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/18/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 195. The estuary section reported a low density of guests currently fishing with slow angling success. Kings and Steelhead were reported as moving upriver and holding in pools. The lower section reported a moderate guest density, with moderate angling success for Kings, Coho, and Steelhead. Fish were reported as moving upriver and holding in pools. The middle section reported a moderate to high guest density and good to fishing with “a lot” of Kings and Steelhead being brought to hand. Also, one Atlantic salmon was caught. The upper section reported a moderate angler volume with good fishing for Kings and Steelhead. Fish were reported as moving upriver quickly. The top section reported low angling pressure, with good angling success, with Kings, Steelhead, and a few Brown trout.
