Yesterday's Report
17 OCT '25 / PM Report: The Manor House guests' reserved areas the South channel below the Glide as well as the Upper Clay will be CLOSED to all DSR guests tomorrow, Saturday, October 18th, 2025; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible. It should be noted that individuals have been able to now purchase daily access fishing passes online, for the next day; the number of available passes online will vary day-by but try that option before you attempt a walk-up pass. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/17/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 198. NOTE: as our temperatures edge closer to freezing, through actual thermometer reading, or wind chill, please ensure that you do not remove fish wholly from the water, if at all possible, as that has the very real potential to damage their gills. The estuary section reported no guests currently fishing. Some Kings and Steelhead were seen milling about in the North Channel. The lower section reported low to moderate guest density, with moderate to good fishing for Kings and Steelhead. The middle section reported moderate guest density and moderate to good fishing with Kings and Steelhead. The upper section reported High Angler Volume with Excellent Fishing for Kings, Steelhead, Browns and a few Atlantics.
