14 Oct '25 / PM Fishing Report: The Manor House guests' reserved area (the South channel below the Glide) is OPEN to all guests 10/14/2025 as of 4:30pm. The Upper Clay will remain CLOSED until further notice; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/14/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 198. Water temperature was 60 degrees at 4:30pm. There are three lodges available on the 16th of October: Mud Creek, Salmon Run Lodge and Deer Run. The lodges are for one night only and have a minimum occupancy rate of 3 guests for Mud Creek and Deer Run and for Salmon Run 5 guests. The lodges can be booked online. The estuary section had a low volume of anglers. Kings were seen moving upriver and holding. The lower section reported moderate guest density with Kings and Steelhead being caught. Fishing was rated as moderate to good. The middle section reported moderate guest density, and moderate angling success, with Kings, Coho, and Steelhead both moving upriver and holding in pools. The upper section reported moderate guest density, with good angling success. Kings and Steelhead being the primary species brought to hand. The top section reported as having no guests present.
