14 Oct '25 there are two lodges available for immediate booking in absolute prime time for 2026: 1 October 2026 Meadow Lodge (6 person capacity - may increase to 7 persons by request, or even 8 persons with the approval of management); 2 October 2026 Estuary Lodge (4 person capacity - may increase to 5 persons by request, or even 6 persons with the approval of management ).
As of 9 AM we have a number of full day fishing passes for immediate sale ($95 each); by extension, we will have ample afternoon-only fishing passes to sell, starting at 1 PM today ($55 each)
It should be noted that individuals have been able to now purchase daily access fishing passes online from 15 October 2025 on; the amount of available passes online will vary day-by-day, but try that option before you attempt a walk-up pass
The two Manor House guests' reserved areas (the South channel below the Glide, and a portion of the Upper Clay) are CLOSED, to all other categories of guests today, until further notice; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible.
The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/14/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 198.
9 AM report: Current conditions are: overcast, 54 degrees (high of 62 degrees forecasted), dead calm, dry. Water temperature is 59 degrees.
The estuary section reported low guest density, moderate fishing activity, with Chinook (King) and Steelhead, moving upriver and holding in pools.
The lower section reported low guest density in the lower part, moderate guest density in the upper part, all experiencing moderate fishing activity throughout, with a mix of Kings and Steelhead throughout, as well as a bonus Atlantic Salmon in the upper part, that are both moving upriver as well as holding in pools. A lot of the fish that are holding are engaging in spawning activity; please do not fish for spawners!
The middle section reported moderate guest density throughout; experiencing moderate fishing activity in the lower part, and good fishing activity in the upper part, with a mix of Kings and Steelhead throughout, and a very large Brown Trout in the upper part, with these fish moving upriver as well as holding in pools.
The upper section reported moderate guest density throughout, with moderate fishing activity in the lower part, and slow fishing activity in the upper part, on Kings and Steelhead in the lower part, and Kings only in the upper part, that are moving upriver as well as holding in pools in the lower part, and moving upriver in the upper part.
The top section reported no guests present, moderate fish activity, Kings and Steelhead, that are moving upriver as well as holding in pools.
