5 OCT 25: The Manor House guests' reserved areas are both OPEN all day today, to our other guests, until further notice; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether the areas are accessible. We currently, as of 7:15 AM, have 15 full day fishing passes we can sell to walk-up guests 9:00 AM fishing report: The estuary section reported low angler pressure met with slow to quiet success. King salmon were reported to be holding in pools with few moving upriver. The lower section reported moderate angling with moderate success. King and Coho salmon reported moving upriver as well as holding in pools. The middle section reported high to low angling pressure from the bottom to the middle of the run experiencing good angling success. A mixed bag of King and Coho salmon as well as a brown trout and a steelhead. Fish were reported moving upriver and holding in deep pools. The upper section reported high angling pressure throughout met with good angling success, again with a mix of Kings, Cohos, Brown Trout and steelhead reported. Fish were seen moving upriver earlier in the morning but have settled into deep pools. The top section reported no anglers present. Coho salmon reported holding in pools. Current forecast for today is: “Abundant sunshine. Continued very warm. High 82F. Winds light and variable.” Tonight’s weather: Clear skies. “Low near 55F. Winds light and variable.”
