04 OCT '25: the Manor House guests' reserved area (the Upper Clay) is OPEN to all guests for the rest of the day - The South Channel below the glide is CLOSED to all guests, for the full day, until further notice; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/04/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 195. 4:30 PM fishing report: The estuary section reported low guest density, experiencing moderate fishing activity, with Chinook (King) and Coho salmon, which are moving both upriver and holding in pools. The lower section reported moderate guest density, experiencing good fishing activity, with a mix of Kings and Coho throughout, that are moving upriver, downriver, as well as holding in pools. The middle section reported low - moderate guest density, experiencing good fishing activity, with a mix of Kings and Coho in the lower part, adding in Steelhead at the upper part, with fish moving mainly upriver. The upper section reported low guest density throughout, with moderate fishing activity, with a mix of Kings and Coho moving upriver throughout the section. The top section reported low guest density, experiencing moderate fishing activity, with a mix of Kings and Coho moving upriver and holding in pools. The forecast for tomorrow is: "Sunny skies. Continued very warm. High 82F. Winds light and variable."
