4 OCT 25: The Manor House guests' reserved areas are both CLOSED all day today, to our other guests, until further notice; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether the areas are accessible.
We are currently sold out of full day fishing passes; the walk-up afternoon fishing passes will be sold beginning at 1 PM today ($70 each) . Here are our walk-up pass procedures:

The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/04/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 195.
10:30 AM report: Current conditions are: hazy blue skies with clouds, diffused sunshine, 69 degrees (high of 75 degrees forecasted), dead calm, dry. Water temperature is 59 degrees.
The estuary section reported low guest density, experiencing slow fishing activity, with Chinook (King) and Coho salmon, which are moving both upriver and downriver (probably the Cohos), as well as holding in pools.
The lower section reported moderate guest density in the lower part, and high guest density in the upper part, experiencing moderate fishing activity in the lower part and slow fishing activity in the upper part, with a mix of Kings and Cohos throughout, that are moving upriver as well as holding in pools.
The middle section reported moderate guest density in the lower part and low guest density in the upper part; experiencing good fishing activity in the lower part and moderate fishing activity in the upper part, with a mix of Kings and Cohos in the lower part, adding in Steelhead at the upper part, with fish moving upriver, downriver (Cohos?), as well as holding in pools within the lower part, and moving through as well as holding in the upper part.
The upper section reported moderate guest density throughout, with moderate fishing activity in the lower part and good fishing activity in the upper part, with a mix of Kings, Cohos, and Steelhead in the lower part, and the grand slam of Kings, Cohos, Steelhead, Brown Trout, and an Atlantic Salmon in the upper part, that are moving upriver as well as holding in pools throughout the section.
The top section reported low guest density, experiencing moderate fishing activity, with a mix of Kings, Cohos, and a Brown Trout moving upriver and downriver (Cohos?) as well as holding in pools.
The forecast for tonight is: "Clear skies. Low near 55F. Winds light and variable". The forecast for tomorrow is: "Mainly sunny. Continued very warm. High 81F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph".
