200 CFS Dam Release

September 12, 2025

MANOR HOUSE GUESTS. We recognize the need for both timely and accurate information regarding the fishing activities of our Manor House guests, in order that our other guests may plan their own fishing activities for the day. Our first scheduled date for Manor House guests to fish within their designated reserved areas will be Monday, 22 September 2025. We will publish the fishing plans of our Manor House guests for that day, as well as the status of the reserved area(s), the prior afternoon, Sunday, 21 September 2025, within our Facebook post as well as our website fishing report. This same procedure will hold true for any other day that we have scheduled Manor House guests on the run. Any subsequent day-of updates will be published either at the Welcome Center, or at the various release sites, during the morning phased release in-processing. Any further daily updates during the day will be published to the on-duty River Patrol, who will both verbally inform guests present around those areas, as well as change the signage to indicate the current status of those areas. DEER RUN LODGE IS AVAILABLE September 16 – 20, 2025. This lodge is available only for this year; you will not be able to rebook for 2026. River Patrol 9 AM fishing report (this report is a subjective, generalized, evaluation of fishing conditions within large, yet specific, areas of the run, compiled through personal observations of the River Patrol assigned to these areas, as well as those of our guests angling within these areas, over a span of several hours, and may differ from your personal observations): The estuary section reported low angler density, slow fishing activity, with small pods of Chinook (King) and Coho salmon moving upriver. The lower section reported a moderate volume of anglers, achieving slow to moderate (higher up) angling success, with Kings and Cohos, which are moving upriver as well as holding in some of the deeper pools. The middle section reported moderate (lower part) to low guest density, slow to moderate fishing activity, with a mix of Kings and Cohos primarily moving upriver, with a few holding in the section. The upper section reported low guest density, with no guests in the upper part, slow angling activity, with a mix of Kings and Cohos, and a solitary Steelhead, all moving upriver. The top section reported no anglers present and no observed fish activity. The forecast for tonight is: "A few passing clouds. Low 51F. Winds light and variable.".
