River Patrol 9 AM fishing report (this report is a subjective, generalized, evaluation of fishing conditions within large, yet specific, areas of the run, compiled through personal observations of the River Patrol assigned to these areas, as well as those of our guests angling within these areas, over a span of several hours, and may differ from your personal observations):
The estuary section reported a low volume of anglers with slow angling success. Pods of King salmon were reported as swirling in the north channel but not pushing up into the run.
The lower section reported a moderate volume of anglers and moderate angling success. King Salmon and a sprinkling of Coho were reported as holding in pools and moving upriver.
The middle section reported a moderate volume of anglers with slow angling success. King and Coho salmon were seen moving quickly upriver.
The upper section reported a low volume of anglers and slow angling success. Same as the middle section with King and Coho salmon moving quickly upriver.
The top section reported as having no anglers present.
