The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until further notice, due to drought conditions. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 209. We have hazy skies, sunshine, very light breezes, dry conditions. Air temperature is 55 degrees (forecasted high of 80 degrees), water temperature is 68 degrees. NOTE / SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: the stream restoration project continues through Friday, 5 Sep '25, with all areas of the river below # 19 (No Name) closed to fishing. There were few fish either present or moving in this area, however those that were moving upriver were Chinook (King) salmon using the North channel to do so; the bottom half of the lower section is currently closed to fishing due to ongoing stream restoration construction below # 19 (No Name), still scheduled to be completed by 5 Sep '25. In the upper half of that section, it was reported that there is low guest density, experiencing slow fishing activity, predominately Kings, all of which were moving upriver; the middle section reported low guest density, experiencing moderate fishing activity, with Kings in the lower half and both Kings and Cohos in the upper half of this section, all of which are moving upriver; the upper section reported low guest density, experiencing slow fishing activity, with a mix of Kings and Cohos, all of which are moving upriver; the top section reported low guest density, experiencing moderate angling success, with a mix of Kings and Cohos moving upriver.
