Today's Report
PM Fishing Report for 9/1/2025-Sunny skies turned to overcast this afternoon on the run, but the temperatures were moderate, and the light winds made for a pleasant afternoon. The water temperature mid afternoon climbed to 70 degrees. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 cfs through at least midnight tomorrow evening; the gauge at Pineville is currently reading 209 cfs. The estuary didn’t have any anglers this afternoon; kings were seen below the route 3 bridge swimming back and forth but not committing to making any major moves upstream. The lower section had light guest activity with Kings being the primary fish brought to hand. The middle and upper sections seemed to have the most guest activity with both Kings and Cohos in the mix. Our top section of the DSR had low guest activity as well as any fish brought to hand. We didn’t have reports of any Atlantics or Steelhead this afternoon. Tomorrow’s weather forecast is for temperatures ranging from the 60s to mid-70s with mostly sunny skies and light winds from the S / SW. Our river restoration project will re-commence tomorrow, Tuesday September 2nd and scheduled to be completed NLT Friday, September 5th. During that time from ‘No Name Hole / #19 on our DSR Map downstream will be closed to fishing.
